Bravida Linköping

With smart wireless lighting controls, offices can be effectively transformed into a comfortable, sustainable and human-centric environment. Bravida’s office in Linköping, equipped with Aura Light and Helvar technologies, showcases the impactful benefits that efficient LED luminaires and intelligent wireless lighting can bring.

When the installation company Bravida Linköping changed premises, one of the key requirements was to ensure that good and even lighting was set up for the workplace, and that the new indoor lighting norm was met. They therefore chose to install the Aura Lunaria LED panel from Aura Light, coupled with Helvar ActiveAhead wireless lighting controls, in their offices, corridors and other open spaces.
Benefits of AI-based lighting controls
Choosing Helvar ActiveAhead in the new premises was not just about getting an innovative, energy-saving and cost-effective lighting system for Bravida. “It felt good to test the new lighting controls with AI technology in our own office before we started proposing the solution for our customers”, says Bravida’s Patrik Fredriksson. “We wanted to be sure that it worked and fulfilled its function in a good way. Helvar has also been helpful with configuration according to our wishes. For example, we have chosen to group the lighting into corridors and open areas so that they are switched on and off at the same time in the entire area. It works best here in the office. In other contexts, ActiveAhead’s self-learning capabilities are also a good alternative”, says Patrik.

Bravida’s office lighting setup at a glance
• Each luminaire has a built-in ActiveAhead Node and ActiveAhead Sense sensor, which are connected to a Helvar Freedom LED driver. This enables the luminaires to communicate wirelessly.
• The lighting in the corridors is grouped to be switched on or off and to dim down at the same time as a group.
• To save energy, the lights dim down and turn off automatically after 15 minutes of space vacancy.
• For user comfort, corridor hold is configured to keep the lights outside a room on while the room is in use.
