Helvar’s contribution spans three levels of the office building, along with key areas on the ground floor, including the café. The objective was to implement a smart and energy-efficient lighting system that supports a dynamic, future-proof working environment.
Lighting Control Solution
A well-lit workspace is essential for employee well-being and productivity. The lighting solutions implemented at BT Dundee ensure optimal light levels throughout the day, dynamically adjusting to support focus, reduce eye strain, and create a comfortable environment for all employees.

✔ DALI Devices & Emergency Lighting: Ensuring safety and energy efficiency, the integration of DALI devices supports a seamless and reliable lighting infrastructure.
This project is an excellent example of Helvar’s Hybrid solution, bridging the gap between wired and wireless systems. This approach provides the best of both worlds: the freedom of choice when it comes to lighting on a wired infrastructure, combined with the flexibility and simplicity of a wireless mesh. The addition of Helvar Insights will further enhance the workspace’s performance and sustainability.
