498 8 × 16 A Relay Unit

498 8 × 16 A Relay Unit

The 498 DigiDim relay is an 8-channel relay unit with high inrush relays rated at 16 A per channel. The unit has the ability to handle sudden high-peak inrush currents due to switching on loads. 498 can be networked through DALI or SDIM to work with DigiDim & Imagine control systems.

Single channel relay unit, designed to allow interfacing with other building control and management systems. The relay is a solid-state, normally open signal relay, with a contact rating of 60 VAC or VDC, at a maximum of 0.5 A. The unit forms a DALI relay node with a typical current consumption of 10 mA and is programmable as a single relay unit using Designer and Toolbox Helvar lighting control software.

The 320D2 PIR Sensor is a DALI-2 certified version of the 320 PIR sensor that provides energy saving functions in a DALI system. It can turn the lights on when its coverage area is occupied, and off when it is unoccupied. Due to its excellent detection performance, the PIR Sensor is especially suitable for applications where small or slow movements take place for extended periods of time, such as offices or classrooms.

The 342 Acoustic Sensor combines audible and infrasound detectors in one single component as an active part in lighting control. This audible sound sensor is used for near field presence/ movement detection and the infrasound detector is for recognizing e.g. the opening of a door, within the allocated range. The sensor is ideal for enclosed spaces such as corridors, stairwells and single floor parking garage. The 342 is also suited for areas that may require a large number of PIR sensors or that are difficult to equip using traditional movement sensors. Being an acoustic sensor it can be set up out of the line of sight.
