We are thrilled to announce an exciting update to our lighting controls offering with the introduction of ActiveAhead support for Helvar DALI-2 wall panels. This update greatly broadens the range of wall panel designs you can use in your projects. When using Helvar DALI-2 wall panels, the room will work out-of-the-box with default wall panel button functions and presence detection — ensuring flexibility, easiness, and a seamless user experience.
What are the benefits of Helvar DALI-2 wall panels being supported by Helvar ActiveAhead?
1. Out-of-the-box operation
ActiveAhead Node will use default button functions after the installation offering typical lighting control settings for the space. Button functions can be modified based on specific requirements. This is done using the ActiveAhead mobile app known for its excellent user experience and ability to tailor lighting environments with ease and precision. Combined with a sensor, the solution offers a plug-&-play installation and the best setup experience in the market.
2. Design and Technological Excellence
Helvar wall panels can be used with ActiveAhead Node Multisensors and Node Advanced products. This gives you the freedom to choose panel design and button layout from our portfolio of standard DALI-2 wall panels, which extends your options to meet both the technical and aesthetic requirements of the projects you envision. ActiveAhead Nodes utilise Bluetooth Mesh to connect the nodes to offer grouping, corridor hold and networked lighting control features and benefits.
3. Enhanced User Experience
Helvar ActiveAhead allows you to use standard DALI devices (such as luminaires and sensors) while offering a great user experience through automation and self-learning capabilities. Use features such as daylight harvesting and occupancy detection to minimise energy usage and reduce costs and emissions!
