The DALI Lighting Awards, held in association with the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) and arc, took place virtually on 26th January 2021. These awards celebrate and showcase the best use of DALI control solutions in lighting projects and installations across the globe. Designed to reward control, creativity, problem-solving, and difference (new techniques, new thinking), the DALI Lighting awards recognise excellence in lighting control.
“We are one of the founding members of the DALI Alliance, and one of the first companies to introduce DALI lighting controls to the market. Winning a DALI lighting award is another proud moment for us in our DALI journey” acknowledges Helvar CEO, Adel Hattab. “We’re now entering a new era of standardisation and interoperability in the lighting world, with the introduction of the new DALI-2 standard and we look forward to making further impact” continues Adel Hattab.

The Column of Immaculate Conception was strategically illuminated for the first time in history, to reignite the beauty of the column in an efficient and elegant way. The Helvar Router solution automatically recalls specific lighting scenes to ensure the marble column is bathed in the perfect level of light, to emphasise the incredible details from every angle. We extend a huge congratulations to the team responsible for bringing this column to life, including Lighting Designers Francesca Storaro and Vittorio Storaro, Lighting Control and Commissioning team Elettroservice Srl and Installer team Acea, all made possible with Erco luminaires.
