Elettroservice S.r.l is a long-standing Helvar Partner in Italy, Slovenia and Croatia.
The availability of products has always been a key success factor for Elettroservice. In 2019, the warehouse responsible for stocking all materials was expanded with a new, fully-automated area with “compactable shelves” which granted an additional 700m2 for storage. This was the perfect opportunity to update the lighting system in both the existing space and the outdoor areas with state-of-the-art LED luminaires and lighting controls.
The new Helvar lighting control system enables greater lighting comfort, optimal task lighting and ensures a safer workspace – all of which supports the wellbeing of employees from morning through to evening.
The newly redesigned spaces in the warehouse are linked to the Helvar lighting controls via the 942 modules. The 329 external light sensors set the intensity of the internal lighting, whilst the 322 presence sensors activate the programmed scenes. This way, lights are activated at the right level, based on the needs of the users, and only where needed.

To allow for maximum natural light, the skylights in the warehouse feature automatic blinds control, which is achieved with the Helvar 409 module. This automatic feature can be manually overridden, and an external wind/rain sensor is also connected to ensure that the skylights are closed to avoid damage in the event of adverse weather.
This lighting system also includes emergency luminaires equipped with Alvit emergency units. In the event of any failures when testing, the Helvar web server USee provides further insights to the system status.
