The Helvar Board of Directors has decided to separate Helvar’s two businesses into two independent companies. Helvar’s current Lighting Intelligence business, specialising in professional lighting control systems, field- and digital services, will continue to operate as Helvar. A new company, Helvar Components, will be formed for the current Helvar Lighting Components business.
The company structure change is done to accelerate the strategy implementation of both companies and will become effective as of 1st of May 2024.
Helvar owners have a strong commitment to both companies to grow, succeed and evolve within their own business environments. Helvar’s intelligent lighting control systems and services help to optimise spaces for wellbeing, while minimising energy usage throughout the smart building lifecycle. Helvar Components is an independent European partner for luminaire manufacturers, continuing to provide leading luminaire components such as LED drivers.
Helvar’s reliability, expertise, and great customer service have been praised by its customers over the years. While these will remain important for both companies after the structure change is implemented, the further focus on business-specific value chains and processes will mean the ability to serve the unique business needs even better going forward.
